Security Protection Coordinator at FMV

At FMV, we are now looking for experienced security protection coordinators for various parts of our operations – in a changed security policy landscape, your work is crucial for effective and cohesive security protection. With us, you will have an important role where you actively protect operations that are central to Sweden's defense capability and have the opportunity to influence and develop security protection for real.

About the Position

As a security protection coordinator, you will operate in a supportive, advisory, and educational role within the entire security protection area – information security, personnel security, and physical security. You are an important support to both managers and employees and contribute to making security protection a natural and integrated part of the operations.

You will plan, develop, and conduct training in security protection and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, rules, and internal guidelines. The work also involves participation in planning and follow-up, conducting investigations, and preparing and compiling reports. A central part of the assignment is to actively contribute to the development of the organization's security protection work.

In some parts of the organization, you will be the sole security protection coordinator, while in others you will work with a small number of colleagues. Regardless of placement, you will be part of an established cross-agency network where security protection coordinators collaborate and share experiences.

The positions are located in Stockholm. Business travel may occur.

About You

We are looking for someone with a relevant academic education or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. To succeed in the role, it is essential that you have current and relevant multi-year experience in security protection issues. The position requires good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have training in security protection. Experience in planning and leading work with smaller groups is also beneficial. We see it as an advantage if you have relevant and current experience in applying regulations, signal protection, IT security, security-related analyses, or investigating security incidents. Desirable but not required is if you have previously worked in an organization with high demands for integrity and security awareness.

Personal qualities are of great importance to us. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences and seek someone with good judgment. You have the ability to weigh complex information and various considerations and demonstrate judgment in statements, actions, and decisions. Furthermore, you have a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive your processes forward. Since the role involves contact and collaboration with several different parties, it is also important that you enjoy collaborating with others and have good teamwork skills where you listen, communicate, and resolve challenging situations constructively.
